Viola Anderson, 94, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at her residence. 

She was born in Courtland, Al. She loved sewing and eating. Viola was a member of the Lookout Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was baptized on Oct. 26, 1968, and was a faithful servant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JT Anderson; sons, R.L. Anderson, Leon Anderson, and Larry Anderson; and brothers, Hammit Jones and Percy Appleberry. 

Survivors include her sons, Theodore (Stephanie) Anderson, Jimmy (Jessie) Anderson, Charles (Mary) Anderson, Clarence (Charlotte) Anderson, and Gregory Anderson; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She will lie-in-state on Sunday, Aug. 1, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be Monday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Brother Charles Wiggins giving the discourse.
