Retired From Boyd And Ogden Printing Agency After 34 Years

Robert Donald Mosier, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Mosier was retired from Boyd and Ogden Printing Agency with 34 years of service and attended Red Bank Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of Alhambra Shriners.   

He was the son of the late Lincoln and Annie Mosier and was preceded in death by his loving  wife, Mary Jo Mosier and a son, William Kenneth Mosier, brother, Lebron Mosier, sister, Jeannie Brooks, and brothers-in-law Bill Brooks and Hub Waterhouse.

Survivors include his two daughters, Valenda (Dennis) Frye, Ooltewah;  Rhonda (Tommy) Hanes, Bryant, Alabama; brother, Alan Mosier, Chattanooga; sisters, Barbara Williams, Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia; Dona Waterhouse, Ringgold, Georgia; four grandchildren, Dean (Stephanie) Bates, Athens; Gary (Olivia) Bates, Sale Creek; Laura (Micheal) Pattillo, Valley, Alabama; Amber Hanes, Bryant, Alabama; five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; special friends, Donna Holcomb and Janice Gross.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, in Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Floyd officiating followed with burial with military honors at National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dean and Gary Bates, Micheal Pattillo, Harvey Scarborough, Larry Johnson and John Cash.

The family will receive friends from 4–7 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, and Monday, Aug. 2, from 12-1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity or to Alhambra Shrine Children’s Hospital.
