The Signal Mountain golf teams opened the season on Thursday at the Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club with both boys and girls losing by slim margins to Kingston. The visiting Yellowjackets slipped by the Eagles, 315-322, while the Lady Jackets got by the Lady Eagles, 162-205.
Low honors for the boys went to Kingston’s Colby Johnson with a one over par 72. Honors for Signal Mountain went to Peyton Ogle with a 73.
The girls’ low score went to the Lady Yellowjackets’ Kailey Lane with a 76.
