Kenneth Lamar Flint, Jr. departed this life on July 16,2021, at Erlanger Trauma Unit Care Center at the age of 34 years young.

Also known as “Lil Kenny,” he was born on June 28, 1987.

Kenny attended Chattanooga Public Schools. He accepted Christ at a young age. Kenny was known for being extremely loving, protective, caring, and very family-oriented. His smile was so joyous and infectious and most of all charming. Kenny was a home chef and created many amazing dishes. Kenny enjoyed fishing, traveling and music. Kenny was working towards a career in the music industry as an artist. He lived and loved life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death, by his father, Kenneth Lamar Flint, Sr.; grandparent, Philip Edmonds; great-grandparents, Idella Bailey and Willie Bailey, Ardell (Juanita H.) Flint; uncle, Stanley Smith, great-uncles, Hebert Turner, Anderson Bailey; and cousins, Andrea Bailey, Reginald Bailey.

He is survived by his daughter, Kilissa Fought; mother, Tina Bailey; grandparents, Mattie Cole and Marva L. Flint (James) Vance; sisters, Marquita Barnes (Marcus) Toliver, Latoya Barnes-Jackson, Michelle Nicole Flint, and MarKitta Flint, of Memphis, Tennessee; niece, Kurria Rogers, J’yonna McMath, Mikaila Evans; nephews, Johnathan Barnes, Adrain Anderson, Peyton Reed and Chaz Collier Jr.; special aunt, Tisha Michelle (Flint) Phillips; aunts: Phyllis Campbell, Jameca Bentley, Faye Miree, Angela (Knorvy) Daniels, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Andrea R. Davis, of Atlanta, Georgia; uncles, Cedric J. Vance, Yayha Rashid, James Ware, and Al Armour, of Chattanooga; special great aunt, Ethel Bailey, of Chattanooga; great aunt, Barbara L. Davis, of Atlanta, Georgia; great uncle, Willie Bailey, Atlanta, Georgia; one paternal cousin, Tommy L. Phillips, Jr.; and two paternal cousins, Arielle Nicole (Warren) McCullough and Jillian D. White, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Ja’Kel Hardnett, Dejuan Bentley, Atlanta, Georgia, Chris McErath; godparent, Earnestine Scott; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, bonus family, and friends.

Public viewing will be held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2021, followed by a 1 p.m. service at the funeral home.

The interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Highland Memorial Gardens.
