Janice Marie Inman
Janice Marie Inman, 87, Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 27, 1934, in Nashville, to the late Everett and Effie Price. She moved to Chattanooga, in 1970 to become pastor of the Emmanuel Praise Temple and was the pastor for over 50 years. She touched many people through her ministry and was a loving, caring and compassionate pastor. Her legacy will live on for years.
She was also employed at Erlanger Medical Center in the Information Systems Department and retired in 1996.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristy Jan Inman and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Tim Inman, of Atlanta Georgia.
Visitation will be at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, from 12-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Visitation will also be at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave., Franklin, Tn., from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2.
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1 p.m. following visitation. Elder Mark Thomas and Elder Sue Hutchinson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
