Karen Arleen Adams Burton
Karen Arleen Adams Burton, age 57, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1963. She was a member of Community Fellowship Church and was last employed at U. S. Xpress, graduate of Ringgold High School Class of 1981, and she completed a Degree at Walker Tech College.
Survivors are her loving and devoted son, Ramel L. Burton; parents, Alvin Adams, Jr. and Katie Rene Thomas Adams; grandchildren, Braxtin Kait Thomas – Burton, and Lola Annelise Thomas – Burton; brothers, Randall Wade Adams of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, Alvin Adams, III, of Ringgold, Georgia, Kenneth V. (Tonarra) Adams of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Scott A. (Denise) Adams of Cohutta, Georgia; aunts, Janie Boykin of Ringgold, Georgia, Flora Marie Moore of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, Gaddie (James) Blanks , Nancy (Larry) Rucker of Ooltewah, Tennessee; uncles, James Holloway of Ringgold, Tommy Thomas of Chattanooga, DeVon Thomas of Ft. Oglethorpe; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, with Rev. Craig Moore, Rev. David Thomas, Pastor Edward Ellis, and other ministers officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
Interment will be at Ringgold Community Cemetery.
