Dawson “Joe” Gribble
Dawson “Joe” Gribble, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beulah Gribble.
He was an avid golfer, gardener, and loved animals.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Reed Gribble of the residence; daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Dennis Bryson of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Stormie Gribble of Crandall; sisters and brothers-in law, Joyce and Lamar Starks of Dalton, Kathryn and Ronald Cochran of Dalton, and Faye Webb of Cartersville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Riney Gribble and Charles and Wanda Gribble, both of Dalton. A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive, nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 12 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m.
The family asked that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity.
