Held Long Career With Candlewick Yarns And Co-Owned Legends Bar-B-Que And Blue Grass On The River

Helen Harrison, 77, of Rossville, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side.

 

She worked over 40 years with Candlewick Yarns and was co-owner of Legends Bar-B-Que and Blue Grass on the River with her husband.  Helen enjoyed quilting, Diamond Dot Art, reading, and treasured time with her family.  She will be dearly missed.

 

Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Harrison; parents, James and Aileen Minchew; brother, Thomas Minchew.

 

Survivors are her daughter, Brenda (Timmy) Lovett; son, Bubba (Lucy) Harrison; brother, Jimmy (Pam) Minchew; grandchildren, Brooke, Shaye, Katie, Amber, Logan, and Kassidy; many great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 15, from 2-5 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
