Leigh Anne Garland Brackett
Leigh Anne Garland Brackett, age 35, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Advent Health Gordon.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Lois Henderson, Cecil Worth and Lona Garland.
Leigh Anne was a teacher at Murray County Pre-K Center and Dalton Public Schools. She loved teaching and loved her students as her own children. She had a loving spirit and a bubbly personality. She was dearly loved by her husband, her son, her daughter, her parents, and her brother.
Survivors include her husband, Josh Brackett of Dalton; her son, Jackson Brackett; her daughter, Brantleigh Brackett; her parents, Jim and Wilma Garland of Dalton; her brother Jeff Garland and his fiancé, Stephanie, of Jasper; aunts and uncles, Danny and Rena Garland, Ricky and Tonya Garland; nieces and nephews, Samantha and Jordan Smith, Dylan Garland, and Austin Garland; and great-niece and nephew, Taylynn and Maverick Smith.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 19, at 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, at Salem Baptist Church. Her burial will be at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
