Amber Campbell
Amber Gail Campbell passed in her sleep on September 6, 2021, at age 41.
She was born to Audrey Lucas and Orlando Spratling on April 13, 1980.
Amber could accomplish anything she set her mind to. At a very early age she aspired to educate, she loved school and teaching as young as kindergarten. She obtained her master’s in education and professionally taught for over 15 years.
Her interest outside of education was family. Being a mom was the highlight of her life. She also enjoyed reading, running track and music of all kinds.
Amber was a married to Devin Campbell and mother to three beautiful girls.
Amber was preceded in death by her brother, Alexia Levon Spratling, grandfathers, Lonell Lucas Sr., and Joseph Keith.
She is survived by her husband, Devin Campbell; her three daughters, Aniah Sparrow, Aubrey Campbell, and Deyin Campbell; her loving mother, Audrey Lucas, father Orlando Spratling; brothers, Adam Lucas, Jason Spratling, and Orlando Lee Spratling; sister, Shanara Herd Pickett; grandmothers, Agnes Lucas, Jackie Lee Spratling, Zora Keith; grandfather, Arthur Lee Spratling; three aunts, Sonya Brewer, Patrice Hemphill, Katrina Lucas; five uncles, Lonell Lucas Jr., Danny Green, Joseph Keith Jr. David Courtney Keith, and Steven Keith. She also leaves behind a closer than close tribe of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the funeral home, followed by funeral service at noon in the chapel.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
