Joe Stapp
Joe Stapp, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Advent Health Care in Calhoun.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lois Stapp; son, Kevin Stapp; brother-in-law, Jimmy Crow; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Mae Crow.
He enjoyed life, spending time with his family and watching Georgia football, eating at Longhorn, Red Lobster, and Texas Roadhouse.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Crow Stapp of the residence; son, Jonathan Stapp of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Debbie Crow of Dalton, Steve and Crystal Crow of Cleveland and Kathy Rendon of Dalton; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Stapp of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kylee Stapp, Madison Stapp, Tanner Stapp, and Baleigh Langston; great-grandchildren, Hannlie, Kylan and Easton; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating.
Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 6, from 5-8 p.m.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
