Legacy Village of Cleveland has named Lisa Willis Cook, RN, as its director of Sales and Marketing.

A veteran in the senior living field, Ms. Cook brings to her new role over three decades of experience as a registered nurse as well as a passion for serving the Greatest Generation and ensuring they are treated with the respect they deserve.

As director of Sales and Marketing, Ms. Cook will provide community outreach on behalf of Legacy Village of  Cleveland and will oversee tours, events and all other marketing efforts. She will walk families and prospective residents through their move-in journey, from initial contact with the community to ensuring a smooth transition as a resident. Ms. Cook will work closely with the clinical team to provide continuous care and communication with the families and loved ones of Legacy Village.

"Lisa is bringing a wealth of knowledge that she has gained throughout her impressive career to our Cleveland facility," said Barry Ray, co-founder and CEO of Legacy Senior Living. "Bryan Cook and I firmly believe that she is going to be an asset to our Legacy Village of Cleveland family and know that she will go above and beyond to ensure that every resident is treated with respect, honor, faith and integrity. Thank you, Lisa, for bringing your talents to our Bradley County community."

“We believe Lisa has a passion for seniors and her commitment to serving them exudes beyond the walls of Legacy Village," said Christina Clevenger, executive director of Legacy Village of Cleveland. "Her background as an RN coupled with her enthusiastic spirit and genuine desire to serve others makes her the perfect fit for this position. I can’t wait for the families and loved ones of Legacy Village to get to know Lisa."

Since graduating from Danville Memorial Hospital of Nursing in 1988, Ms. Cook has worked in a number of different capacities in the senior living field, including resident care director for a local senior living community and as a care coordinator with Tennessee Home Health Care of East Tennessee, where she also gained experience in marketing and educating both professionals and community members on services provided.

“I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to join the wonderful team at Legacy Village of Cleveland," said Ms. Cook. "Over the course of my career, I have worn many hats, but one thing has not changed: my love and passion for serving others. I look forward to helping seniors and their families as they make the decision to join our community."

When not working, Ms. Cook enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, her three children and grandchild. She loves being outdoors, hiking and exploring nature. She has been a member of the Church of God denomination for 30 years and is heavily involved in her church family.
