Working with the City of Chattanooga, staff members of Parkridge Medical Center, Habitat for Humanity, green | spaces of Chattanooga and Orchard Knob residents celebrated an act of service on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by planting 30 trees in the Historic Orchard Knob community.

“Making time to volunteer is a great way to engage with and help beautify our own Orchard Knob neighborhood while honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” said Whitney Evans Snardon, associate administrator/co-ECO of Parkridge Health System.

The trees were planted along Ivy Street to help the Orchard Knob Collaborative’s continuing efforts to improve and beautify the Orchard Knob neighborhood.
