Notre Dame used a 15 point second quarter and 17 points in the final eight minutes to fuel a 48-33 road win over Grace Friday night .
Cole McCormick continued with his hot hand for the Irish, this time hitting for 14 points. DJ Brown had 11 to support the Irish win. Pierce Smith had 13 for the Golden Eagles.
Notre Dame girls 54, Grace 16: The Lady Irish shot out to a 27 point lead at the half and cruised to their 16th win of the season over Grace, 54-16.
Makayla Skaggs paced Notre Dame with 12 points. With the win, the Irish go to 16-7, 6-0 in region play.
Walker Valley girls 46, Tyner 33: The Lady Mustangs trailed by one after eight minutes of play, then caught fire in the second period and went to the locker room ahead by 15 at the half, leading 31-16. Walker Valley won the contest, besting the Lady Rams, 46-33.
Brilee Harris led the Lady Mustangs with 14 points, hitting three baskets from beyond the arc. Her teammate, Maliyah Woods tossed in 11, all in the first half. Kaileigh Chubb was tops for Tyner with 12 points.
Walker valley had an edge in rebounds, 43-33, with Elissa earls grabbing 11, seven on the offensive boards.
