Patricia Ann Cooke, 81 of Chickamauga, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022.

 

Patricia lived in Walker County most all of her life. She was retired from B&T International and previously worked for Chattanooga Paper and Woodenware for over 30 years. Patricia was a member of the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church for over 35 years and was involved in many church activities. She was also actively involved in her community serving as president of the Battlefield Pilot Club for several terms, member of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce, prepared meals for the Ronald McDonald House, and served on the committee for the Walker County BEAT Program. Patricia was known for her vibrant personality and was always looking for ways to help others. She dearly loved her Lord and family and will truly be missed.

 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Anna Laura Meredith; brother, Kenneth; sister, Linda; and nephew, Ricky.

 

Survivors include her loving husband and best friend of 46 years, Jack Cooke; sons, Berry (Becky) Cooke, Terry (Launa) Cooke; grandchildren: Katie, Andrew, Laura, Chandler, Erin, Elizabeth, Anna, and Keyaira; niece and daughter-in-love, Christy (Rick) Rickenbaker; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House at 200 Central Ave. Chatt., TN 37403.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 from 2-7pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
