Imogene Elizabeth Armour, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, in a health care facility in Marietta, Georgia.  

She was a 1954 graduate of Howard High School. Imogene was a member of St. Elmo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Armour, Jr.; son, Anthony Ray Lovelady; father, Bonnie Boykins; mother, Theressia Harris; and brother, William W. Harris.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Ann) Lovelady, Fletcher Douglas, Michael (Angia) Armour, Terrance (Charmela) Stallion, and Andrew E. Armour; daughter, Theresa A. Lovelady; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Imogene will lie in state on Friday, Jan. 28, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at noon in the chapel with Pastor Stanley Freeland as the eulogist.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
