Valerie Jean Faulds, 64, of Sale Creek, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

 

Valerie graduated from Bloom High School in Sauk Village, Il. She later attended and graduated from Tennessee Temple University. She worked for many years for First Tennessee Bank on Broad Street and later retired from Cigna Healthcare. Valerie was a member of Mile Straight Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Mund Veres. 

 

Valerie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Lloyd Faulds of Sale Creek; siblings, Danny (Debbie) Veres, Jerry (Pam) Veres and Gail Washington, all of Chicago; nieces and nephews, Dawn, Wayne Doug, Robyn, Michael and A.J.; and her childhood best friend, JoAnn Bronkema.

 

A service to celebrate Valerie’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at Mile Straight Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Goss officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Valerie’s name to the Ladies 2 Sunday School Class at Mile Straight Baptist Church, 8448 Springfield Road, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379.
