Malinda Beck Golden
Malinda Beck Golden, age 61, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022.
She was born on Oct. 15, 1960. She was preceded by her mother, Addie Marie Beck; sisterss, Annetta Kaye “KatieBeck” Wimpy and Rachel Ramsey; and brother, Alvin Ray “Alboo” Beck.
Malinda obtained a GED from Dalton State University. She was a well known softball player in Whitfield County. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and Timeless Treasures. Malinda was an active member of the Barbara Willis Weekly Bible Study. She enjoyed baking, having fish fries for friends and family and people in the community.
Survivors are her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, Robert “Jack” Golden; children, Kalitha “Kalida” (Minister Keith) Johnson, Michael (Lena) Beck, Tennille (Marcus) Golden, Allen Schommer, Robert “Poo” Golden; grandchildren, O’Shea “Boot Boot”, Austen, Kason, Cason, Mataya, Michael, Zavon, Michael, Tyler, Mia, Hyson, and Sexton; siblings, Richard “Ricky” Beck, Willie (Stephanie) Beck, Rebecca Beck, James Kemp, Daniel Kemp; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; and special friend, Carol Jackson, and other friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Sunday, Jan. 16, at noon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia, 30721.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4-5:30 p.m.
Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
