The McCallie Middle School Tennis team won the USTA Middle School State Tennis Championships held in Clarksville this weekend.
Representing McCallie was Jimmy Lockhart, John Moore, Jake Lindquist, Graham Gervin and Vishnu Vardhana.
In this tournament format, each team had five players with one player playing singles and the other four players playing doubles. The Blue Tornado played each team twice, and the overall winner was determined by the team that won the most overall games.
Behind first place McCallie was Baylor, MUS and then Brentwood.
