CSCC Music Department Presents A Holiday Concert Dec. 1

Cleveland State Community College's Vocal Rhapsody and Blue Notes Jazz Ensemble will present an evening of holiday music on Thursday, Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the George R. Johnson Cultural Heritage Center on the Cleveland State campus.  

The concert will include music by Vince Guaraldi, Miles Davis, Ruth Elaine Schram and classic Christmas and holiday tunes. 

The vocal ensemble, Vocal Rhapsody, is under the direction of Andie Phillips; the Blue Notes Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Assistant Professor of Music Matt Schaffner. According to Schaffner, "Our students are eager to welcome the public back to in-person performances. We look forward to providing an enjoyable live holiday music experience to the campus and the community once again!"
