Sarah Joanne Aaron Trewhitt
Sarah Joanne Aaron Trewhitt, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday November 24, 2022.
She was born March 4, 1929 in Cleveland, Tn.. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1947, a lifelong homemaker and a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 69 years, Ted W. Trewhitt Jr. and parents, Goodwin W. and Beatrice Lawson Aaron, three brothers, Charles Aaron, Troy Aaron and Don Aaron and sister, Helen Aaron Jones.
She is survived by her two daughters, Melanie and husband David Schonhoff, and Avan and husband Mike Burroughs; four grandchildren, Bethany and husband Nathan Bowman, Tara and husband Will Hupman, Alex and wife Meghan Burroughs and Abby Burroughs; four great-grandchildren, Mateo, Lucas and Lilianna Bowman and Claire Burroughs; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 28, at Hamilton Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
A chapel service will be held on Monday, Nov. 28, at Hamilton Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m.
Entombment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the India mission fund in care of Central church of Christ or the Nicaraguan mission fund in care of East Ridge church of Christ.
