Thomas Bradford “Brad” Simpson, III, 74, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, was called home on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Brad was a lifetime resident of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., but passed away at his sons in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.   He was born to the late Thomas Bradford Simpson, II and Marjorie Janet Duck Simpson on December 1, 1947.  Brad was married to the late Alice Goodman and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was the owner of Post Service Garage and was a dedicated worker with his dad in the business.  He loved his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Brad always took his family on vacation every year.  Brad loved to cut up with everyone, loved his talks with Landon, his great-grandson and had a close bond with his brothers-in-law.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bradford Simpson, II, and wife, Alice Goodman Simpson.

He leaves his memories to his mother from Nottingham, England Marjorie Janet Duck Simpson; son, Sean Simpson (David Clark), grandchildren Maegan Simpson (Alex Davis), Daniel Simpson; great-grandchildren, Landon Camp and Shelby Davis.  Former spouse and friend, Cathy Broome.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 3-8 p.m. CST and on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tn.

 

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor David Berry officiating.

 

Burial will be on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at TN/GA Memorial Cemetery in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

 

Pallbearers are Alex Davis, Daniel Camp, David Clark Kamden Wellington, with honorary pallbearer Landon Camp.
