CSAS and Notre Dame squared off Sunday afternoon in a “Court of Dreams” contest at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Cole McCormick led the Irish with 26 points, as Notre Dame also got 14 points from DJ Brown and 10 from Ben Houston to down the Hustlin’ Tigers, 66-42. Phillip Moss led CSAS with nine.
Notre Dame jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the first quarter, in part due to Houston’s six points in that first period. The Irish went on to a commanding 36-12 lead at the half and cruised to the win in the last two quarters of play, as McCormick netted 16 of his total over the final periods.
