Bertie Kay Sartin, 84, of Lookout Valley, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Sartin was a member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church, and had worked for many years at Chattem and Signal Knitting Mills.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Edith Thomasson; husband, James Edgar Sartin; brother, Campbell Thomasson; and sisters, Lois Hardy and Aleene Durham.
Left to cherish her memory is her son and daughter-in-law, Mike & Pat Sarton, of Lookout Valley; grandchildren, Shea (Shannon) Sartin and Lauren (Mack) Ridge; great-grandchildren, Sophia Sartin, Samuel Sartin, Weston Ridge, Barrett Ridge and Harper Ridge; brothers, Dewey Thomasson, Donnie (Juanice) Thomasson and Leon (Edna) Thomasson.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Brother Darrell Smith officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
