Mary Shirlyn Stinnett, 71, of Benton, went home to be with the Lord,on November 30, 2022. She was born in Cleveland on Nov. 11, 1951, to the late Millard and Jessie Moore. She was of the Baptist faith. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by one brother, David Moore.
She leaves behind her loving husband, A.J. Stinnett; sons, Danny Stinnett (Tinia) and Dean Stinnett (Amy); five siblings, Dorthy King, Betty Jo McCurry, Charles Moore, Paulette Casteel and Linda Branham; grandchildren, Daniel Stinnett (Beth), Whitney Crisp, Amber Stinnett, Kamea Stinnett, Brooklyn Stinnett, Kyra Woody (Michael), Kynlei Stinnett, Kaiya Stinnett, Tiffany Stamper (Lucas), Kimberly Griswald (Cody) and Jill Sipe (Nike); great-grandchildren, Madison Stinnett, Avery Stinnett, Audrianna Crisp, Jack, Josh, John and Raylyn Stamper and Sutton Griswald; as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10–11 a.m. at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel. Burial will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens at 217 Patty Road in Benton, with the nephews serving as pallbearers.
