Oliver, Edwin C. (Cleveland)

Edwin C. Oliver, 92, of Cleveland, passed away December 4, 2022. He was born Nov. 24, 1930 to the late Herb & Velno Oliver in Harietta, Mi. Edwin was a veteran of the United States Army and was with the Korean conflict medic. He also worked as a builder & brick stone mason. Edwin loved woodworking, traveling and camping.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Irene Mongar, Bud Oliver and Ken Oliver; first wife, Helen Oliver; second wife, Dottie Post Oliver; and grandson, Justin Williams.

He is survived by his son, Earl (Barb) Oliver; daughters, Janet (Jim) Williams and Pat (Chadd) Reese; brother, Jack Oliver; grandchildren, Zach Reese, Ryan Reese and Jessica Williams; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with full military honors. Shawn Hensel will officiate.
