Rodney Blaylock Named Banking Center Manager Of First Horizon Bank In Erlanger Medical Center

First Horizon Bank has named Rodney Blaylock as banking center manager of the First Horizon banking center in Erlanger Medical Center.

Mr. Blaylock joined the Bank in June of 2005 as a relief teller, and became a full-time teller that same November. In 2009, he became the operations manager for the banking center in Red Bank, and in 2020, he was named the relationship banker for the Soddy Daisy banking center. 

In his role, Mr. Blaylock is responsible for developing new business and expanding on existing client relationships.

As someone that is passionate about leadership and helping people, I am looking forward to using the knowledge this company has provided me along with the relationships I have developed over the years to expand and grow in those areas. I look forward to working with the wonderful team at the Medical Center Banking Center to take us to the next level and to work with the great leadership team here in Chattanooga at First Horizon.”

A Chattanooga native, Mr. Blaylock is a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School. He serves as a member of the Alliance and Allies group at First Horizon. He lives in Chattanooga with his husband, Ford Knox, Jr. and two daughters, Naomi and Lindi, where they enjoy going on adventures, including family trips, hiking, antiquing and game nights. He also enjoys music and concerts, gardening and working on projects around the house.
