Vickie Ann Hendrickson peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2022.

She was born on June 17, 1965, in Chattanooga, Tn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Hendrickson; and her parents, Fred and Judy Richardson.

Vickie graduated from Red Bank High School and was an avid softball fan both on and off the field.  She spent many hours assisting with ASA fast pitch softball tournaments organized by her dad and was a familiar face to many coaches in the area.

If Vickie liked you, you knew it.  And if she didn’t, you knew that too.  Friends and family were keenly but fondly aware that any newcomers would be subjected to Vickie’s (usually) good natured inquisition and those who “passed” were keepers.  Vickie cherished time with family especially when caring for her nieces and nephews.

Vickie is survived by daughter, Emily (Joseph) Roddy; son, Caleb Hendrickson; sister, Karen (Doug) Rand; sister, Janet Hall; brother, Bryan (Lori) Richardson; nieces and nephews, Levi Richardson and Grace Richardson, Taelor Hall and Taelon Hall, Ashley Underwood, Zacharia (Julia) Landreth, and Zachary (Caitlin) Rand; great nieces and nephews, Hayden Landreth and Shelbi Underwood, Dawson Landreth and Deacon Landreth, Liam Rand, Brayden Rand, and Sofia Rand; Leonard’s family, and the adopted Biggers family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, from 3-7 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga.

Funeral Services will be held at the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 5, at 1 p.m. with final interment in Hamilton Memorial Gardens at 5351 Highway 153 in Hixson with Rev. Brad Harris officiating.

Pall bearers are Caleb Hendrickson, DJ Jones, Hayden Landreth, Justin Bates, Levi Richardson, Steven Palmer, Taelon Hall, and Zacharia Landreth.

A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Erlanger and Memorial for the wonderful care given.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family to offset expenses.
