Julia “Judy” Knight

Julia “Judy” Knight, a loving mother, terrific friend, witty conversationalist, and Christ follower went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on May 15, 2022. 

She was born on July 8, 1942 to J.B. and Gladys Potts. 

She was a voracious reader and enjoyed coffee, crafting, scrapbooking, traveling, and sharing her faith.

Survivors include Willard Knight, her loving husband of 61 years, her daughter Lee Ann (Brent) Burton of Mt Juliet, TN, her son Joe Knight of Chattanooga, TN and sister Faye (Ed) Barron of Guys, TN. 

She is also survived by her uncle, James Earl (Bobbie) Potts, several nieces and nephews, honorary daughter, Patrice Williams, and honorary son, Rick Houston.

Nashville visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Donelson.  Mississippi visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home South Chapel in Corinth, MS with services and burial to follow on Saturday at 11 a.m.
