Children’s Hospital At Erlanger Hosts Christmas In July Toy Drive

  • Friday, June 24, 2022
Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is hosting a Christmas in July Toy Drive encouraging donations for the Child Life department.

The Child Life program has gone through their Christmas donations faster than expected and need the community’s help to brighten patients’ days. Community members can help improve a child’s hospital stay by donating toys, clothing and more. All items must be in new, unused condition.

During the month of July, donations can be dropped off in the donation bin located outside the Children’s Emergency Department entrance on Blackford Street.
For larger donations, community members can coordinate with the Child Life department for scheduling a drop-off time.

"Erlanger’s Child Life Specialists actively work with patients to minimize stress and anxiety while working to promote a positive medical experience," officials said. "They help normalize the environment by providing diversion activities, help children and their families prepare for and understand procedures and provide emotional support."
