Albin James Budash, Jr.
Albin James Budash, Jr., 73, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
He was born on Dec. 1, 1948, to Albin Sr. and Lois Budash.
Albin was born in Chicago but lived most of his life in Buffalo, NY. He studied at Rome Shorter College in Georgia, and under Milton Freeman at the University of Chicago for his masters.
After his studies, he found his passion to travel. He married his wife of 47 years Susan and they have been everywhere in life together. They traveled all over the country and enjoyed all that the world had to offer. Although, their most recent travels were here at home through the mountains. Albin and Susan would hit the road with the top down on the car and just enjoy the ride. After, they would come home to relax with their beloved pups Shiloh and Sage. Albin also traveled for his love for fishing. His hobbies were sports fishing, metal sculpting and karate. If you knew Albin, then you also knew he was an avid fan of “Roll Tide” Alabama. From Buffalo, NY to Hixson, he enjoyed being an Alabama fan.
Albin was a man who enjoyed many things, but was also a man of business. He knew he wanted to work for himself so he started his own company. Albin was the owner of Actuarial Consulting Services INC. from 1982 thru 2016. He absolutely loved what he did and helping many businesses throughout the years. Albin was a wonderful man with a big heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Albin was preceded in death by his father, Albin Budash Sr. and mother, Lois (Gau) Budash.
He is survived by his loving wife Susan (Engue) Budash, daughter, Laura Bucklin and her husband Christopher, sister, Irene Weaver and husband Mark, two grandchildren, Hunter and Gabriel and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, from 6-8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home.
