Linda Doris “Granny” Beck, 73, of Cleveland, passed away on June 23, 2022. She was born on Dec. 6, 1948 in Gainsboro, Tn. Linda enjoyed spending time socializing and going to the casino. She was a seamstress for many years and loved to sew. Additionally, Linda loved her “junk” and could often be found selling at flea markets in the area. She was a musician who enjoyed playing music and singing in gospel groups, and owned Caribbean Tan for many years. Linda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Stacy; son, Tony Allen; siblings, Iva Stacy Rich, Wayne Stacy and Willa Dean Stacy; grandmother, Ivory Stacy; great-grandparents, Srilda Rainey Stacy and Billy Stacy; and father to her children, Bud Allen.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 34 years, Roy Beck; daughter, Diane Allen Wilson (Roy Lee) and their children, Colton Wilson, Brady Wilson (Cymone) and Jordan Wilson (Makenzie); stepson, Billy Beck (Amanda) and their children, Parker Beck and Taylor Beck; daughter-in-law Kathy Allen; and siblings, Joe Stacy (Patti), Glen Stacy (Loretta), Kathy Thompson, Bobby Stacy, Robbie Stacy and James Hammock. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Lady, Patches and Bruno.
Linda’s family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6 p.m.
