Dorothy Fox, 87, departed this life on Tuesday morning, June 28, 2022 at her residence. Born on April 20, 1935 to the late James and Onis Boring Burke, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and was of the Church of God faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Franklin Fox, Sr.; and daughter, Tressa Fox White.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Tammy Fox Bolles, Howard Franklin Fox, Jr.(Ramonda), Kimberly Jean Cross and Thomas Fox; grandchildren, Jason Cross, Brittany Cross, Lacey Bolles, Logan Fox, Kirsten Hourigan (Garrett), Eli Fox, Heather Jones and Chase Blier; great-grandchildren, Haven, Jaxon, Ashlyn, Brendan, Emma, Lily, Zachery, Reagen, Hadley and Leia; as well as several extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life and Homegoing for Dorothy Jean Fox will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 1 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with Brother Paul Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the Chilcut United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour on Friday.
