The Chattanooga Division of Transportation announces the following road construction updates:
New lane configuration on Hamilton Place Boulevard at Shallowford Road
• The Hamilton Place Boulvard turn lanes have been reconfigured to provide a double left turn at Shallowford Road. The new traffic pattern is two left turn lanes and one through/right turn lane.
• Signs and markings have been added to alert drivers to the new lane configurations.
S. Holtzclaw Avenue
• S. Holtzclaw Avenue will be closed between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, July 1 for construction work.
• Detours will be posted.
