Perry Lamb
Perry David Lamb Jr., 55, of Chickamauga, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
He was a devoted husband, loving brother, and a thoughtful friend to so many. He was born in Savannah, GA, and moved to Walker County in 2013. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on the farm. He loved our county and wanted to make a difference.
He was preceded in death by his father, Perry David Lamb; and mother, Carol Lamb Archer.
He is survived by his wife, Heidi Lamb; sister, Penny Howe (Bart) of Guyton, GA; and many aunts, uncles and countless cousins also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Jeff Daniels officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
Honorary pallbearers are William Campbell, Allen Estelle, Richard Dennis Kessler, Elliot Pierce, Keith Fults, Bobby Teems, Sam Bowman, Daniel Kessler, Bart Howe, Samuel Cole Kessler, and Cal Kessler.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Perry’s memory may be made to Cedar Grove Community Club - 1112 Andrews Lane, Chickamauga, Ga. 30707.
