Rhea County Republican Party Senatorial Debate Canceled

The Rhea County Republican Party has announced their planned debate for the 1st District State Senate Seat, set for Thursday at the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department Training Center has been canceled.

Vice-Chairman Kris Bancroft was notified Sunday afternoon by Candidate Mark Hall that he was not going to be able to attend due to a sudden conflict in his schedule.

Mr. Hall and the other senatorial candidate Adam Lowe had accepted invitations from the party several weeks ago.

The 1st District seat was newly created in the recent redistricting by the Tennessee State Legislature and it included all of Rhea, Meigs, Bradley and McMinn Counties.
