Walter Roddy
Walter Roddy, 21, passed away on July 6, 2022.
Walter grew up in Chattanooga and attended the Chattanooga School for Creative Arts as a guitar major. He was an intuitively talented musician. Walter was developing as a cook and he enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen. He was a funny, charismatic guy who took life one day at a time and just did whatever he enjoyed. We will miss our Cards Against Humanity Champion.
Survivors include his parents, Katherine Johnson and Hal Roddy; sister, Jessica Roddy; maternal grandparents, Dr. Louis Johnson and Margaret Johnson; as well as his uncle, Chip (Kachai) Johnson; and cousins: Jakob (Ellie) Custer, Alexander Johnson, Sara Johnson and Katelyn Custer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, at 9 a.m. in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
