James Harce Moses, 77, of Whitwell, Tennessee, was called home on Monday, August 8, 2022. 

James was born to the late Clyde Cleveland Moses and Malissa Steele Moses on May 18, 1945. He loved watching any and all sports, loved Tennessee football, Atlanta Braves, gardening, helping out with his grandchildren and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Cleveland Moses; mother, Malissa Steele Moses; brothers, Clyde Moses and Clifton Moses.

He leaves all his precious memories to his sons, Shane (Celena) Moses, Rodney (Kristy) Murray; sisters, Jean Jordan, Lois Pastewka; grandchildren, Hunter Styers, Kalli Moses, Kenzie Moses; great-grandchildren, Jayden Calhoon and Oliver Green.

The family will hold visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 4-8 p.m. CST and on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home, LLC in Jasper, Tn.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tn. with Roger Webb officiating.

Burial will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.

Pallbearers are Hunter Styers, Josh Thacker, Daniel Pittman, David Pittman, Darrell Pittman and Jordan Green.

Funeral services entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, 423 942-9500.
