LearningRx Chattanooga Graduate Wins Nationwide Student Of The Year Contest

  • Thursday, August 18, 2022

LearningRx Chattanooga nominated Isabel (Isa) Baez for the nationwide LearningRx Student of the Year contest in May 2022. Ms. Baez tried other programs like tutoring and afterschool programs to get help with school.

LearningRx was a last-ditch effort for Ms. Baez and her family, and now she says, "LearningRx unlocked my brain."

Her experience with LearningRx and her upbeat personality is why Center Director Michelle Davis and Director of Training Gerri Holstine nominated her as the center's 2022 Student of the Year.

The Student of the Year contest is an annual competition between all LearningRx centers nationwide. Since its founding, LearningRx has trained over 100,000 brains. Ms. Baez was selected out of all the students submitted nationwide for the 2022 competition.

The Student of the Year winner was announced at LearningRx's annual convention in Colorado Springs, Co., near the company headquarters. The entire room was in tears watching her nomination video, which can be found here on YouTube.

Ms. Davis said, "We were so thrilled to hear Isa had won. We knew her story was special, and now we get to honor her in a big way."

The Student of the Year winner received a $1,000 scholarship and the winning center received a trophy to display in their Chattanooga location.
