Joe Ann “Joey” DeVivo was born on January 7, 1940 in Council Grove, Kansas, and went home to be with the Lord March 2, 2022 in Chattanooga, Tennessee after her battle with cancer.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Lewis Saunders; mother, George Ann (St. John) Morgan; many aunts and uncles, Loraine Mason, Albert St. John, Esther Holder, Bertie Seitz, Steve St. John and Jessie Davis. 

She is survived by her brother, Robert “Bob” E. Morgan, and niece, Dr. Amie (Morgan) and Ken Anderson; son, Cord S. Conrad and grandson, Chief Petty Officer Justin S. and Ami Conrad, and great-grandchildren, Preston and Harper Conrad.  

Joey worked at Orange Grove Center for 33 years wearing many hats, and she was a choir member of the Scenic City Chorale. She attended the Christian Family House Church in Chattanooga and was a beloved friend to the many lives she touched.  She was a lover of God, nature, and her fellow man. 

Deaconess Nancy Ragon will conduct a memorial service at Brainerd Presbyterian Church, 1624 Jenkins Road, on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
