Austin Russell Bonds 78, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  He was the son of the late Austin Wilder and Frances Reece Bonds.

Russell was the owner/operator of several hair salons since 1964, including Hair Unlimited in Red Bank. He enjoyed his dogs, motorcycles, cars, tinkering with mechanical devices, browsing the internet, and following Alabama football.

Russell was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Eileen Hudson Bonds.

All of his many friends will miss him.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.

Friends will be received at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home beginning at 9:30 a.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Susan Komen Foundation at komen.org, or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/memorial

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
