Connie Gibson Mitchell, 58, of Rossville, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at her home. 

 

She had lived the majority of her life in Catoosa County where she was a 1981 graduate of LFO High School. Following high school she received her associate's degree in Business from Edmondson Business College. She worked for over 15 years at Cracker Barrel in East Ridge as an assistant manager. Connie loved helping others. She also enjoyed coloring in adult coloring books and coin collecting.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Noah Mitchell; and ex-husband, Randy Gibson.

 

Survivors include her mother, Brenda Mitchell; sister, Paula Truett; nephew, Wayne Simpson; niece, Cherise O’Connor; and several great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 12 at 3 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

 

A private interment will be held at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 1-3 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
