Jason Thomas, lead pastor of First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe, starts a new series called "I am Jonah" this Sunday morning. He will be teaching in the book of Jonah, Chapter 1 vv.1-3.

The story of Jonah brings to mind boats and storms and big fish, but what if God is using the story to teach us about our true identity, value, and purpose? Pastor Thomas will delve into this in this series over the next few Sundays.

First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe is at 2645 LaFayette Road and has a traditional service at 10 a.m.
and a contemporary service at 11 a.m. Life Groups meet all over campus at 9 a.m.and 10 a.m.and during the week.

The church is celebrating its 70th year of ministry this year and you can learn more about FBCFO at www.fbcfo.org
