The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team impressed during the opening weekend of 2022 competition at the Austin Peay Fall Invite, which ran from Friday through Sunday in Clarksville, Tenn.
Chattanooga competed in both singles and doubles action while partaking in the hidden dual format. Head coach Chad Camper was more than pleased about the effort and performances in Clarksville this weekend.
"The women played tough at many spots. It was great to see them compete and pull for one another," said Camper.
"We have some work to do at spots, but this team has potential.
"We just need to keep improving on the court. Caroline [Gibbens] and Lucia [Garrigues-Melendez] really played their heart out. It was a very impressive weekend for those two."
