Jessee Jerome Adams, 67, of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

He was born on June 13, 1955 to the late Jesse Adams, Jr. and Katherine June Lester Adams. He was preceded by his sister, Kathy Adams and brother, Dwayne Douglas Adams. He was a member of The Church of Christ. He was a United States Army Veteran and was Honorably Discharged. He was a former Policeman with the Floyd County Law Enforcement for twenty-five years. 

Survivors are his loving and devoted wife of thirty-six years, Angela D. Adams; two daughters, Wendy (Randy) Smith, Tiffany Ratliff; two sons, Tony Michael Ratliff, and Bradley Nichols Adams; eight grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline (David) Griffin; two brothers, Willie George Adams, Terry Adams; uncles, Albert Lester, Lee Lester; mother-in-law, Corine Nichols; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; several nieces, and nephews; special friend, Howard Irvin; other relatives, and friends. 

Homegoing Service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. at the West Fifth Street Church of Christ, Summerville, Ga., with Brother John Lewis as eulogist.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment will be on Monday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Ga.
