Kristie Dawn Prock Johnson, 49, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, surrounded by family, at a local healthcare facility. Kristie spent many years working as a nurse for children with special needs, but her true joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Kristie is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Prock and grandparents, Glen and Irene Dalton.
She enjoyed craft projects and cooking or baking. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Prock; daughters, Shay (Travis) Moats and Shi (Logan) Dodson; grandchildren, Alexander and Owen Moats and Karissa and Maddux Dodson; sisters, Denise (David) Benton, Holly (Jimmy) Allred, Robin Merrell and Cindy (James) Poole; and step-brother, Tim (Alicia) Wilcox. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel, with Pastor Chuck Peels officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Friday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel, who has charge of the arrangements.
