Bessie Faye Hunt, 76, longtime resident of Cleveland, passed away January 28, 2023. She was born Dec. 28, 1946 to the late Johnny & Jane Murr in Knoxville. Bessie was a godly woman, was of the Church of God faith and loved spending time with her family and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hunt; brothers, Tommy Murr, Rex Murr and Blake Murr; and daughter, Tammy Hunt.
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Amy) Hunt; daughter, Janet (Kenneth) Mayweather; grandchildren, Tanner Hunt, Tyler Hunt, Jessica Green, Kendra Mayweather, Will Mayweather, Alyssa Mayweather, Tyler Collier and Emma Hammontree; great-grandchildren, Isaac Hunt, Jameson Hunt, Willow Hunt, Harper Gudac,= and Harrison McCulley; and beloved aunt, Betty Tipton.
The Family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Funeral Home.
