Carlos Jeanette “Granner” Hale
Carlos Jeanette “Granner” Hale, 90, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on January 31, 2023.
She was a member of the Sale Creek United Methodist Church. Ms. Hale was a former employee with Invista and she was a gifted seamstress and was kept busy by her family and friends. Over the years, she hardly ever missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune. Her family will miss her evening reports of the deer she had seen that day while enjoying her time sitting on the porch. What her family remembers most was the love she had for each of them and the way she supported every activity that each was involved in especially what her grandkids and great-grandkids were doing.
Her husband of 68 years, Glenn “Pappaw” Hale and her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann Hale Marler and Thomas Andrew Marler, preceded her in death.
Granner is survived by her sons, Wade Hale, Travis (Beverly) Hale; her grandkids, Breann Hale, Brookelyn (Brandon) Wright, Brandon Hale, Adam (Erin) Marler, Andrea (Ted) Pender, Jessica (Thomas) Good, Casey (Jordan) Hale, Lori (Dan) McDonough; great-grandkids, Clay Pender, Carly Pender, William Marler, Jacob Marler, Allison McDonough, Rachel McDonough, Oakley, Jacob Stiles, Gracie Stiles, Elliza Stiles, Evie Good and Moose.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Reece Faucett and Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Pikeville City Cemetery.
