Lowrance, David Lee (Summerville)

David Lee Lowrance, 59, of Summerville, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, unexpectedly. David was born in New Boston, Tx. on Jan. 14,1964. He was employed at Shaw Industries, had recently retired from 20-plus years as a truck driver and proudly served in the U.S. Army.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Marie Lancaster and Don Lowrance and his brothers, Tony Lowrance and Davey Lowrance.

David is survived by his wife, Kris Lowrance, of Summerville. He is also survived by his children, Jeff Lowrance, Michael Lowrance, Bridgette (Caleb) Adelstein and Chassity (Jordan) Fowler; his stepchildren, Amber (David) Tapp and Michael Hammond; his brothers, Donnie (Savanna) Lowrance and Todd (Heidi) Lowrance; his sisters, Amanda (Colby) Smit and Mara Rhinehardt; and his uncles, Dennis Lowrance, Wilbur (Mary) Lancaster and Sebastain (Kelly) Attaway. David was blessed with 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

David enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially fishing with his father–in–law, Don Smith. He was a loving husband, father and loyal friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. at Rising Fawn Church of God, at 3425 U.S. Hwy. 11 in Rising Fawn. All who knew David are welcome to join the family in celebrating his life.
