Sue Evelyn Partridge
Sue Evelyn Partridge, 92, was born May 17, 1932, to the late Murphy and Georgia Paris in Wildwood (Hooker), Georgia. She was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She later attended Prospect Missionary Baptist Church until failing health. On Sunday, Oct. 27, God in his infinite wisdom, called Sue home.
Sue spent most of her life being a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother to her family. She married the late Albert Partridge and enjoyed 46 years of marriage. Later in life she took a lifelong hobby of sewing and created a small business as a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and her brother, Clifford Paris.
Sue is survived by her children, Anthony Partridge, and Myra (John) Eberhart. The light of her life was her granddaughter, Jessica Eberhart. There is a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Public viewing will begin at 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the funeral home. On Friday, Nov. 8, a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
